As you may already know, the landlord has plans to sell the co-op property and is raising our rent. Update on co-op relocation discussion: We decided in today’s meeting to proceed with signing the lease for a 3-month term at our current location in order to provide us with more time to explore our options for an alternate location. We will renew it as needed until we have identified a location that will best serve our needs. If you were unable to attend today’s manager meeting where we discussed this and want more information, please email me with questions, ideas, etc. Thanks!
In the meantime, we will continue with business as usual, and appreciate your continuing support of our member-owned, all-volunteer cooperatively-run business providing healthy foods and products to our local community.
Please contact Theresa Pizzuto, Interim General Manager at theresa.pizzuto@gmail.com or Pete Santora, Board of Directors Chair at pjsjr329@yahoo.com if you have leads on possible new locations or can volunteer to assist with the relocation work team.
