2022 Seeds: there are a variety of organic garden seeds on the shelf from Southern Exposure Seed Cooperative.
Monthly Senior Discount Day The Co-Op offers a 5% discount to seniors 65+ on the 3rd Saturday of each month. The next senior discount day will be held on Saturday, March 19.
Updated COVID-19 Reminders – We are still following recommended safety protocols
We are still following all of the recommended CDC guidelines for keeping people safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, since the Omicron variant is still high in our area. What we ask you to do the following:
If you are feeling sick at all (fever or not), Please do not come into the store.
If you know you have been exposed to COVID-19, DO NOT come into the store. The CDC guidelines call for staying home for 14 days after you’ve been exposed to someone with confirmed COVID-19. See this link for more information: What to Do If You Are Sick | CDC
If you cannot or will not wear a mask, we will provide curbside pickup for you in order to keep our volunteer managers healthy.

|Recipes and Health Articles Spring onion Curry|
Did you know that not only were spring onions worshipped by ancient Egyptians as a symbol of the universe, but were also grown in Chinese gardens 5000 years ago? These green veggies are also a great source of Vitamin A, C, and K. So, a Spring Onion Curry is not just tasty; it has amazing health benefits too. What fun!
Recipe by: JEYASHRI SURESH
Total Time:: 15 minutes
Nutrition facts:: 240 calories, 9 grams fat
2 bunches – Spring onion
3 tbsp – Besan/ Kadalai Maavu (chickpea flour)
1/4 tsp – Red chilli Powder
2 tsp – OilSalt to taste
1/4 tsp- Garam Masala
1/4 tsp- Cumin seeds
1/4 tsp – Mustard seeds
Curry leaves – 2- 3 sprigs (you can substitute lime or lemon zest, bay or lemon balm leaves, or basil)
How to Make Spring onion Curry
Wash and chop the spring onions finely (both the green and white part together).
Heat oil in a kadai and splutter the mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves. Then add the chopped spring onion and saute.
Add the salt and mix well.
Allow this to cook for 1- 2 mins.
Now add the besan, red chilli powder and garam masala and mix well.
Saute until the besan gets cooked.
