Keep an eye out for a separate email update that we will be sharing soon, but it looks like we will not be moving until June sometime.

Monthly Senior Discount Day The Co-Op offers a 5% discount to seniors 65+ on the 3rd Saturday of each month. The next senior discount day will be held on Saturday, June 19.

Breakfast Bulgur and Millet Grain Bowl
Grain bowls for breakfast? This savory bowl with bulgur, millet, veggies and eggs will make you a true believer. Fresh avocado and tamari or soy sauce makes this especially delicious.

INGREDIENTS: 2 cups Water1/2 cup Bulgur1/2 cup Hulled Millet1 Tbsp Olive Oil2 cups Cherry Tomatoes1/2 cup Mushrooms, sliced3 cups Kale, chopped2 Eggs, cooked to your liking1 Avocado, halved1/2 tsp Sea Salt1/2 tsp Black Pepper2 Tbsp Tamari or Soy Sauce
INSTRUCTIONS:Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a pot. Add bulgur and millet and return to a boil. Cover pot, reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 15-20 minutes. Drain excess water and set aside.Add olive oil to a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add cherry tomatoes and sauté for 5 minutes, or until tomatoes are shiny and lightly blistered. Add mushrooms and sauté for 5 minutes. Add kale, sea salt, black pepper and tamari or soy sauce. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, or until kale is wilted and tender.Divide cooked grains between two large bowls and top with sautéed kale, egg, sautéed mushrooms, sautéed cherry tomatoes and avocado. Enjoy!
