Life Extension Sale Annual 15% off SaleThe Life Extension annual 15% off sale is ending May 10, 2021.  The final deadline for orders is noon on Saturday, May 1. For more information, contact Katherine Vinson by email or phone (864-654-0965).
Relocation Update
We sent a separate email with some updates about our relocation plan. As we shared, we have found a suitable commercial rental property in downtown Six Mile and while the sale has not yet been finalized, we are tentatively planning to move by the end of May. 

We will be holding work days, mostly on Saturdays, between now and whenever we do move and will need volunteer assistance. If you would like to help, please contact Theresa Pizzuto, Interim General Manager at theresa.pizzuto@gmail.com.

We will share updates as soon as we have more information. In the meantime the Co-op is operating as usual.
 2021 Membership Renewals

Monthly Senior Discount Day The Co-Op offers a 5% discount to seniors 65+ on the 3rd Saturday of each month.  The next senior discount day will be held on Saturday, May 15.

  Updated COVID-19 Reminders – We are still following safety protocolsAs you know we are still following all of the recommended CDC guidelines for keeping people safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.  View the full list of co-op practices and reminders here.
 What we ask you to do:If you are feeling sick at all (fever or not), Please do not come into the store.If you know you have been exposed to COVID-19, DO NOT come into the store.  The CDC guidelines call for staying home for 14 days after you’ve been exposed to someone with confirmed COVID-19.  See this link for more information:  What to Do If You Are Sick | CDCIf you cannot or will not wear a mask, we will provide curbside pickup for you in order to keep our managers healthy.

Happy Cow —  The next delivery is Monday, April 26.  The next order deadline is Saturday, May 8 for pickup on Monday, May 10.

Backroads Bakery — Please place special orders by email to Carroll Brown by Saturday 5/15 at noon if you would like to place a special order for our next delivery on Saturday, May 22.

Frontier Herbs — Orders due monthly on the 4th Tuesday of the month.

Quick and Easy Refried Bean Dip
 Healthier and more satisfying than canned versions, this refried bean dip is simple to make and convenient to serve for a party or a quick snack.

Cook Time:     15 minutes

INGREDIENTS:1 cup Pinto Bean Flakes Organic1 cup water1/2 cup prepared salsaINSTRUCTIONS:Bring water to boil, add bean mix and reduce heat to low.Cook on low heat, stirring often, until beans start to thicken.Add salsa and continue to heat and stir until dip is hot.Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes then serve.For variety trying adding green chilies or onions. To make a bean and cheese dip, stir in 1/2 cup grated pepper jack, cheddar, or other cheese while still hot and stir in until melted. To make a hotter dip, add 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon chipotle powder or to taste.
 YIELD: 1 Servings
